Robert Rabideau

STGCS(SW/IUSS) Robert W. Rabideau hails from Crivitz, WI. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1993 and attended boot camp, Sonar Technician “A” School, and AN/SQS-53B “C” School in San Diego, California. 

His operational assignments include USS Conolly (DD 979) from 1995 – 1998, USS Hue City (CG 66) from 1998 – 2000, USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) from 2004 – 2008, COMDESRON TWO from 2011 – 2015 and USS Cole (DDG 67) from 2019 – 2021.

His shore assignments include Naval Ocean Processing Facility, Whidbey Island, Washington from 2001 – 2004, CSCS Unit Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, Virginia from 2008 – 2011 and Undersea Warfare Development Center Detachment Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia from 2015 – 2019.

His personal awards include; two Meritorious Service Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, seven Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, eight Good Conduct Award Medals, and various campaign and service awards.
